In the ENGL 21007 course, my understanding of “writing” in the engineering major has undergone a fundamental change. In the past, I thought writing was merely a tool for expressing ideas, but now I realize that it is an important way for engineers to communicate and showcase their thoughts. The purpose of our writing is to enable readers to better understand and comprehend our story. This course enabled me to combine logic and creativity in writing, construct the structure of thinking in words, and also taught me how to make complex technical content easy to understand through clear language.
